Job Description

 1) Development of HSE Department Plan and budget :
? Develop MGL HSE strategic direction and contribute towards development of organizational business plan for achievement of the same
? Design and develop annual and six monthly plans for training interventions relevant to safety compliance
2) Define HSE Guidelines :
? Responsible for developing HSE standards and metrics basis on which audits need to be undertaken
? Establish Corporate HSE guidelines to various levels within the company
3) Ensure assets are built, maintained and operated as per set Safety standards
? Disseminate information regarding these standards across all levels of the organization to ensure consistency
? Facilitate the monitoring of all projects to ensure that these standards are met
4) HSE Inspection activities :
? Analysis of site safety and communicate to the concerned groups for action and follow up for closure
? Oversee Initial investigation of incidents, prepare report based on HSE guidelines
5) Quality & Safety :
? Ensure employees and contractors are aware of their responsibilities for safe work and must comply with requirements at MGL HSE policy and procedures, code of practice and relevant legislation
? Develop and engage contractors to build their capabilities for HSE Performance Enhancement
? Review of risk for different activities at the site
? Ensure adherence to the strict norms of HSE and compliance of the team for the same
6) People :
? Appraise Senior Management regularly with HSE performance of organisation
? Ensure HSE department is adequately staffed as per the manpower requirements
? Develop HSE communication plan for regular disseminating HSE awareness across organisation
