Job Description

  • Formulation of physical problem statement and CAE problem definitions
  • Geometric modeling understanding and FE modeling capabilities.
  • Definition of CAE objectives and deliverables, to perform analysis and report it with accurate interpretation.
  • Simulation competency, result analysis and interpretation of different automotive components at sub-assembly and/or assembly level.
  • Drive the design through the product engineer for Global/India Product engineering team during the PDP/Pursuit/ADP process.
  • Ability and adaptability to work in a dynamic product environment where the nature of problems, type of products and/or components keep varying.

Job Requirements:
 
  • Good hands-on experience in FEA of automotive subsystems and components
  • Good ANSYS ANSYS Workbench knowledge and experience to perform structural analysis (MUST)
  • Good working knowledge in Hyper Mesh Hyper Works (MUST)
  • Exposure to ADAMS ABAQUS preferred (OPTIONAL)
  • Should have good ability to visualize the behavior of the product based on load cases
  • Should have strong engineering fundamentals and analytical reasoning
  • Should have sound knowledge of sheet metal forming and plastic manufacturing processes
  • Should analyze the FEA results, generate report using the Microsoft office suite
  • Should be willing to work in shifts.

Qualification: Preferred: Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (M.E./M.Tech)

Optional: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (M.E./M.Tech) with relevant experience
