- Process Planning Expertise:
- Master the capabilities of Siemens EasyPlan to enhance manufacturing engineering activities.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing process plans that are robust, scalable, and adaptable to various vehicle, powertrain, and battery projects.
- Create standardized methods and guidelines for manufacturing process planning using Siemens EasyPlan.
- Ensure that these methods maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to integrate manufacturing process plans early in the product development lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment of process planning with overall project goals.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in manufacturing process planning and Siemens EasyPlan updates.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating new technologies and methodologies into the manufacturing process.
- Manage multiple process planning projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Apply project management best practices to track progress, identify risks, and ensure successful outcomes.
- Uphold quality assurance protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Regularly review and refine manufacturing processes to meet or exceed quality benchmarks.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of manufacturing processes.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and further optimize processes.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing process planning, particularly in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency with Siemens EasyPlan and familiarity with other Siemens PLM software.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team of engineers.
- Exceptional project management abilities and experience with project management tools.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing standards and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and staying current with industry trends.
