Job Description
- Pursuing basic research of the products in the assigned category.
- Research on Key ingredients, additives & etc for alternative Recipe creation
- Understanding the Cultural Ecology of Authentic food and the dynamics of the notion of Authenticity with respect to the new breed of MTR and Rasoi Magic consumers
- Responsibilities include developing a Basic Research platform within the R&D Centre to input the Product development team
- Responsible for Safety & hygiene in Research & Development Lab.
- Conduct personal interviews of consumers and various sessions of focus group interviews with consumers to study and identify various characteristics of authenticity: (1) originality, (2) quality commitment and credibility, (3) heritage and style persistence, (4) scarceness, (5) sacredness, and (6) purity,etc
- Set-up and perform sensory analysis of test products and finished products
- Conduct benchmarking study w.r.t. competition for assigned category
- Participate and promote continuous improvement activities.
- Effectively communicate across functions on projects and products as required.
- Hands-on plant trial work and preparation.
