Job Description

Ø Responsibilities:

·       Oversee day-to-day factory operations e.g. staffing requirements, production processes, maintenance of plant equipment etc.

·       Negotiate with vendors/suppliers for parts and technical service.

·       Supervise all the departments like production, quality control, HR, store, logistics etc.

·       Timely meeting with all the departments.

·       Capacity Expansion projects (CAPEX), (Direct Labour, Opex ,Capex) calculations and data analysis.

·       Responsible for maintaining the accurate quality and quantity control to ensure the on-time delivery of produced products in order to satisfy the customers.

·       Establish SOP for manufacturing

·       Planning production meetings, worker schedules, production activities, machine maintenance plans and maintaining product quality and budgets.

·       Planning, formulating, organizing, controlling, and directing production activities.

·       Observing the effective maintenance of safety rules and standards in the department by the workers.

·       Establishing & sustaining WCM (World Class Manufacturing) & Lean manufacturing concept/system.

·       Managing time-lines and work priorities and allocating resources to meet the assigned factory time-lines and goals.

·       Ensuring that the product effectively satisfies the quality level ordered by the customer.

·       Ensuring the effectual adopting of new programs and policies and providing training in order to meet improved requirements ordered by customers.

·       Executing factory manufacturing strategic plan and aligning it with general plant strategy.

·       Supervising quality standards and enforcing quality-control programs.

·       Collaborating with other factory managers to find best practices and the best solution.

·       Reviewing the overall performance and identifying training necessities of all the personnel of the factory.

Ø    Key Skills

·          Having proven knowledge of establishing & sustaining global concepts/systems like Lean Manufacturing, WCM, TPS, etc.

·      Good command over English language

·      Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role

·      Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

·      Experience budgeting and forecasting

·      Familiarity with business and financial principles

·      Excellent communication skills

·      Leadership ability

·      Outstanding organizational skills

·      Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
