No manufacturer's or size label could be located, however the interior is marked with both the laundry number and initials of its original owner, "S 7999" and "F. L. S.", respectively. Normally, this combination would make identifying the veteran relatively easy, however a cursory examination of the publicly available portion of the National Archives' enlistment
